INTERIM CSU POLICY PROHIBITING DISCRIMINATION, HARASSMENT, SEXUAL MISCONDUCT, SEXUAL EXPLOITATION, DATING VIOLENCE, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, STALKING, AND RETALIATION

The University follows the CSU Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Exploitation, Dating Violence, Domestic Violence, Stalking, and Retaliation.

Per the Executive Order,

Notice of Non-Discrimination on the Basis of Gender or Sex

The CSU prohibits the following conduct, as defined in the  CSU Nondiscrimination Policy, Article II.

The CSU prohibits the following conduct, as defined in section V.A and B:

  1. Discrimination based on any Protected Status, including Age, Disability (physical and mental), Gender, Gender Identity (including Nonbinary or Transgender), Gender Expression, Genetic Information, Marital Status, Medical Condition, Nationality, Pregnancy or related conditions, Race or Ethnicity (including color, caste, or ancestry), Religion or Religious Creed, Sex (including Sex Stereotyping or Sex Characteristics), Sexual Orientation, and Veteran or Military Status
  2. Harassment based on any Protected Status.
  3. Sexual Harassment and other Harassment on the basis of Sex or Gender, including:
  4. Hostile environment or Quid Pro Quo Harassment (e.g., when a person conditions a benefit on the Complainant鈥檚 participation in unwelcome sexual conduct)
  5. Dating Violence, Domestic Violence, Sexual Exploitation, and Stalking; and/or
  6. Sexual Misconduct.
  7. Prohibited Consensual Relationships.
  8. Retaliation

Procedures for 911吃瓜爆料免费观看入口 and Others to Report Criminal Actions or Other Emergencies on Campus

Criminal actions and other emergencies occurring on campus should be reported immediately to the University Police Department by calling (562) 985-4101 or dialing 911 from campus or a cellular phone; you may be able to send a text message to 9-1-1 (Text-to-911 is not available in all areas or on all carriers. Support for texting is made on a 鈥渂est- effort鈥 basis and is not as reliable as voice calls made to 9-1-1. Please be prepared to provide your location as the carriers do not always provide accurate or reliable location information with text messages). Other methods include 鈥渂lue light鈥 emergency telephones, or red phones throughout campus. Visit the Main Station on the south end of parking E5, or by calling (562) 985-4101. A confidential 鈥淲e Tip鈥 line is also available at (562) 986-5131 or on the 911吃瓜爆料免费观看入口 PD website with a web-fillable form. All crimes or suspicious activity/persons should be reported to 911吃瓜爆料免费观看入口 PD immediately. The department will respond by taking the following action(s) as necessary:

  • Dispatch police and/or Long Beach Fire Department to the scene of a reported incident
  • Investigate the incident
  • Take appropriate action(s) to identify, apprehend and prosecute the person(s) responsible
  • Notify or request the assistance of other law enforcement and/or other agencies and university resources when necessary.
