We wish a warm welcome to Dr. Sara Dozier -- the newest member of the tenure-track faculty in Science Education at 911³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´Èë¿ÚState University, Long Beach.

Sara earned her Ph.D. at Stanford University in Curriculum and Teacher Education with an emphasis in Science Education. She is interested in how we can expand and re-envision science education to respect and cultivate the knowledge, experiences, and identities that students bring to science classrooms with a focus on formative assessment.

Sara says, "I am excited to work in community and learn with the science education students, teachers, and faculty at 911³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´Èë¿Ú!"
