Chris Lowe, marine biology professor and director of Cal State Long Beach's Shark Lab, was initially interviewed by about a swimmer fatally attacked by a white shark near Pacific Grove, Calif. Lowe appeared in numerous broadcast and print reports nationwide. The Shark Lab played a key role in identifying the attack as a white shark incident using a new DNA technique developed at 911³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´Èë¿Ú.
