Over 150 students attended the annual Ethics at The Beach seminar offered by the Associated Business 911吃瓜爆料免费观看入口 Organization Council, Student Center for Professional Development, and Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership this spring. Through dynamic keynote presentations and a reflective interactive exercise, students had an opportunity to enhance their ethical leadership skills while exploring the seminar鈥檚 theme, Riding the Waves of Change.
Tony Gomes, American Honda Motor Company鈥檚 assistant vice president of its parts, service and technical division, kicked the morning off with a lively presentation on creating an ethical culture within an organization. To complement Tony鈥檚 talk, attendees received a copy of Ken Blanchard鈥檚 and Sheldon Bowles鈥 book, Gung Ho! Turn on the People in Any Organization.
911吃瓜爆料免费观看入口 alum Cliff Meidl shared his inspirational story of overcoming adversity and achieving success through hard work and determination. After a life-threatening construction accident, Cliff completed his degree while still on crutches and went on to become a competitive athlete in flat-water kayaking. A two-time Olympian, Cliff was elected by his teammates to carry the U.S. flag during the opening ceremonies at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
