Minor in Finance (FIN_UM01)

This new minor was recommended by the Academic Senate on March 8, 2012
and approved by the President on March 13, 2012.

For Non-Business 911�Թϱ�����ѹۿ���� only.

Requirements

•      911�Թϱ�����ѹۿ���� must have Junior standing

•      911�Թϱ�����ѹۿ���� will be allowed to declare the Finance minor after completing FIN 300 with letter         grade “C” or better.

•      911�Թϱ�����ѹۿ���� must complete the following three core courses prior to taking any other Finance         courses:

•      Finance 300 Business Finance (3),

•      Finance 350 Investment Principles (3), and

•      Accounting 201 Elementary Financial Accounting (3)

•      NOTE: The IS 301 prerequisite requirement is waived for the minor

    911�Թϱ�����ѹۿ���� must complete three additional courses (9 additional units) from among the various Finance courses, with at least two courses (6 units) being taken at the 400 level:

FIN 310, 330, 340, 360, 370, 400, 450, 460, 470, 480, 485, 490.
